Winther-Nielsen is now developing the 3BH Moodle as a persuasive e-learning environment for learning and teaching introductory Biblical Hebrew. For this project Claus Tøndering is developing 3ET exercises, now in beta testing, which has a license to the Emdros database of Ulrik Sandborg-Petersen and includes the Werkgroep Informatica Text (WIT) to Genesis 1-3. The 3BH Moodle system is built around the Hebrew Paradigms Quiz and it uses the Linguistic Tree Constructor tool developed by Sandborg-Petersen. It is a perfect match for students using the Stuttgart Electronic Study Bible, but the WIT morphology is also available in the Logos Bible Software Original Languages Library.
At this stage some of the 3BH material is only available in Danish, but Winther-Nielsen expects to present an English proto-typed version at SBL in New Orleans in November 2009. He will test the system with third world country learners in English in the Spring of 2010 and plan to release the first Moodle learning environment for classes and individual learners the Summer of 2010 at www.e-3bm.com. He aims to offer credits through University of Wales and other cooperating universities.
